Take a few minutes to read this essay of mine concerning Pedagogy of the Oppressed. The ideas in this book and essay are avenues to understanding how to liberate the minds of those who consciously or unconsciously consider themselves unable to escape the oppressive forces in their lives. It is our task (as critical educators) to show these people that anything is possible: to liberate them from the confines of a degrading human life and perceived reality, and to deliver and develop them into more self-actualized human beings.
